Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds stewing beef cut bite size
2 tablespoons cooking oil
6 cups water
1 large onion sliced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
1/8 teaspoon allspice
6 medium carrots slice 3/4 inch chunks (or a 1 1/2 cups baby carrots)
1 pound small white onions
4 medium potatoes cut 1 inch cubes
1 cup green beans (if canned add at end before serving)

Instructions:
In large pot brown all meat with oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add water, sliced onion, All spice, worcestershire, pepper, bay leaf, simmering for 1 hour or until meat is tender,stir occasionally. After 1 hour stir in potatoes, carrots, onions, green beans, bring to boil and then simmer 20 mins. Remove bay leaf. Add parsley to each serving if desired or whole pot.
Serve with bread & butter or dinner rolls.
Yield: 6 servings
COMMENTS: This is similar to what I usually make except I haven't added in allspice, oil, bay leaves to mine. Sounds good enough to eat. :)
