ONION STYLE CHEESE RAFTS
Ingredients:
1        cup real mayonnaise
1/2     cup finely shredded cheese
2        tablespoons finely chopped onion

Instructions:
Combine real mayonnaise, shredded cheese and onion.  Using one slice of bread per sandwich [raft] place any meat you choose to use on one piece of bread covering the filling completely so it remains moist.  Broil about 4" from the source of heat until the topping bubbles and browns.

Tastes good on egg salad or roast beef.

Yield: 6 servings

COMMENTS:  I remember this one was very tasty.  Another oldie but goodie.
